From French-Hungarian origins, Sébastien has graduated a Phd in Film from the Sorbonne University of Paris in 2010.
Sébastien was soon named one of the Top 25 Directors to Watch by French creative magazine Future Tracks. Whilst demonstrating particular affinity with graphic cinematic and filmic creative, Sébastien is also not afraid to show emotion or humour in his work.
Sébastien's first short ‘L'Ellipse’ was met with critical acclaim within the film world, which received a number of awards. ‘Disparition’ also received Clermont-Ferrand and Brooklyn nominations. His 3rd short film was nominated at the Festival de Cannes' Short Film Corner for special showing.
Sébastien has also turned his attention towards the world of music videos and commercials. Sébastien directed ‘Wellness is wild’ for famous french EDM band Goon & Koyote featuring New York's booty bass hero Dre Skull which was met with critical acclaim, receiving high praise from Vice Magazine and a Best Electro Music Video Award from French magazine Technikart. He then went on to create, develop and shoot videos for Kerry James and famous french legends Indochine which amassed several Awards around the world.
He also worked for French designer Jean-Louis Sherrer, and in Hungary did successful and creative videos for Punnany Massif, Blahalouisiana and Sonya.
Next to his blossoming director career, Sébastien also worked as 1st AD for such directors as Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Béla Tarr, Wim Vandekeybus, Karim Huu Do or Jean-Luc Godard.
Sébastien is currently in production on another short film and is developing his first feature film.
